Somewhat nasty winds, and steady rainfall, but nowhere near as bad as we were afraid she was going to be. Especially with the fact that we didn't know yesterday if she would still be a hurricane or not by the time she got here.
Batton down the hatches and stay safe, love. Hopefully you managed to lay in enough supplies to hold you in case things take a nasty turn. (I'm a bit worried about the folks I'm house-sitting for, since they're somewhere in western NC. I'm kinda glad to hear it's just 'bad storm' weather where you are; I don't relish the thought of being forced to adopt nine cats, seven of which despise me. :/) Anyway, keep an eye on your windows, and the ceilings, and keep the buckets and towels handy just in case.
