On Love

Bear with me here folks. I'm trying to avoid being corny or sounding like I'm trying to sell a religion.

I love you. It does not matter who you are. I love you.

I love you whether you are straight, bi, gay, not sure what you are, or celibate.

I love you whether you are Democratic, Republican, Libertarian, liberal, conservative, unsure, or have no political affiliation whatsoever.

I love you whether you worship one Deity, two, several, none, or are still searching for what feels right.

I love you whether you are monogamous, polyamorous, a swinger, single, divorced, cheating on your spouse, married to the Divine, not yet old enough be involved in romantic relationships, or not interested.

I love you whether you are black, white, tan, beige, brown, yellow, orange, dusky, red, or purple with green polka dots and electric blue stripes.

I love you whether you are male, female, transgendered, intergendered, neuter, several different genders, or none at all.

I love you totally and unconditionally. Full stop. I love you because you are alive, and that is reason enough to love you. I do not need to know you to know that I love you completly and totally.

Whoever you are out there, I love you. I love you because. Just because I do. Not out of any religious duty or attempt to gain karma, or attain enlightenment. I love you because I love you because I love you.
