I couldn't hold out any more . . .

Okay, I admit it. I don't have the self control to hand these out one a day. So, without further ado, here are the remaining songs from the lyrics quiz. And now, after listening to this mix, I feel like some vigorous and amorous activity.
This is how I typically respond to a power rush, and every song on this list is a strong power song for me.
Song #3 Bedlam Boys, Traditional
For to see mad Tom of Bedlam,
Ten thousand miles I'll travel.
Mad Maudlin goes on dirty toes
For to save her shoes from gravel.
CH: Still I sing bonny boys, bonny mad boys:
Bedlam boys are bonny,
For they all go bare and they live by the air
And they want no drink nor money.
CH
I went down to Pluto's Kitchen
For to get me food one morning,
And there I got souls piping hot,
All on the spit a-turning.
CH
My staff has murdered giants;
My bag a long knife carries
For to cut mince-pies from children's thighs
With which to feed the fairies.
CH
The spirits white as lightning
Would on my travels guide me;
The moon would shake and the stars would quake
Whenever they espied me.
CH
And when that I'll be murdering
The man in the moon to a powder,
His staff I'll break and his dog I'll shake,
And there'll howl no demon louder.
CH
By a knight of ghosts and shadows
I summoned am to tourney
Ten leagues beyond the wild world's end;
Methinks it is no journey.
CH
Of forty bare years have I
Twice twenty been enraged,
And of thirty been three times fifteen
In durance soundly caged;
CH
Still I do sing any food, any feeding,
Feeding, drink or clothing?
Come dame, come maid, be not afraid:
Poor Tom will injure nothing.
CH
With a host of furious fancies
Of which I am commander,
With a flaming spear and a horse of air
Through the wilderness I'll wander.
CH
I know more than Apollo,
For oft when he lies sleeping
I see the stars at bloody wars
In the wounded welkin weeping.
CH
From the hag and the hungry goblin
That into rags would rend ye,
May the spirit that stands by the naked man
In the Book of Moons defend ye.
CH
That of your five sound senses
May you never be forsaken,
Nor wander from yourselves with Tom
Abroad to beg your bacon.
CH
Song #4 Dragon, by John Flynn
It lives beneath the mountain where the hallowed one still lies
Coiled in the darkness it unfolds its wings to fly
Bloated carcass rising as it belches stench and flame
Though you may hear differently, it never has been slain
CH: Oh, can you hear the night wind sing?
Over the hall of fallen kings?
Oh, it's the beating leather wings of a dragon
It walked with priceless treasure out democracy's front door.
It buys and sells the very ones that you and I vote for
Driven by a hunger and an endless lust for gold
Preys on the defenseless ones, the poor, sick, and the old.
CH
Someone is dividing us by colour and by creed
Making it that much easier a task to cull and feed
Someone spins the lies that force the weary ones to choose
Between the wounded planet and the jobs they fear to lose
CH
Heroes fell in battle with the swollen ancient wyrm
Ghandi, Martin Luther, even Jesus took a turn
When a thousand martyrs got in line to take their place,
The dragon knew it could no longer scare the human race.
CH
So it learned to smile, and it learned the art of stealth
Corporate accquistion and deception plunder wealth
Much more cost effective than even fire, tooth and claw
When it becomes tedious, you simply change the law.
CH
Now the fallen towers have been painted on our shields
Fear is on the land as armies gather in the fields
Something smiles as shrill voices bend the archers' aim,
We must see through its disguise, and call it by its name.
CH
It's a dragon
It's a dragon
Song #5 Battle of Evermore, by Led Zepplin
Queen of Light took her bow,
And then she turned to go,
The Prince of Peace embraced the gloom,
And walked the night alone.
Oh, dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morning light.
The dark Lord rides in force tonight,
And time will tell us all.
Oh, throw down your plow and hoe,
Rest not to lock your homes.
Side by side we wait the might of the darkest of them all.
I hear the horses' thunder down in the valley blow,
I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon,
Waiting for the eastern glow.
The apples of the valley hold,
The seeds of happiness,
The ground is rich from tender care,
Repay, do not forget, no, no.
Dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morning light.
The apples turn to brown and black,
The tyrant's face is red.
Oh war is the common cry,
Pick up your swords and fly.
The sky is filled with good and bad that mortals never know.
Oh, well, the night is long the beads of time pass slow,
Tired eyes on the sunrise,
Waiting for the eastern glow.
The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath,
The drums will shake the castle wall,
The ring wraiths ride in black,
Ride on.
Sing as you raise your bow,
Shoot straighter than before.
No comfort has the fire at night that lights the face so cold.
Oh dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morning light.
The magic runes are writ in gold to bring the balance back.
Bring it back.
At last the sun is shining,
The clouds of blue roll by,
With flames from the dragon of darkness,
The sunlight blinds his eyes.
Song #6 Don't Call My Name In Battle, by Heather Alexander
Don't call my name in battle,
It's not wise
Do not distract me when you see a new soul in these eyes
For when the war god fills this flesh I wear,
I am no more your friend; I am the spirit of the bear
Don't call my name in battle,
Stand away
For I will never hear you but another creature may
It never sees a friend but only foes,
Just count the bodies lying where this taken body goes
Don't call my name in battle,
Wait the time
Until I fall and rise again with eyes you know are mine
And then perhaps we'll rest and talk of home,
But do not be surprised to see how much I walk alone
Song #7 Chickasaw Mountain, by Leslie Fish
High up on the mountain of Chickasaw, they say,
There's one patch of darkness that never yields to day;
Deep are those shadows, old as the mountain,
Something is waiting in there; call on her if you dare!
Seek no level of God or devil; she's something older by far,
Call her "Lady Of the Morning Star".
She offers two bargains; the price is steep and dark;
The one takes your life, and the other leaves a mark.
If there's a third one, I've never heard one,
Choose for yourself, what's the fee?
Nothing she gives is free!
Name your goal--she won't ask your soul--
She might even give you her own--
And maybe you'd be better off alone!
My old fellow rebel: I know what deal he made;
The Power rang through every song he wrote and played;
Made him the best of his generation,
Sang to the end of the War--and not a moment more.
Then it left him; the Power bereft him,
Left him but one fate to see--
Hanging on his sister's apple tree.
Forgive my old buddy, who soon forgot my name;
I chose not to follow his seven years of fame.
He took the high road, I take the low road,
Sing second place, but sing long--
And have always one more song!
Take your stars and give me my scars,
I'd rather live long and be free--
So take his cup the hell away from me!
Whoever has wisdom can guess what lies unsaid
The cost of the Gift to the living and the dead;
Still, if you feel you'll gain by the deal,
You'll play with the old Morning Star--no need to travel far.
Don't just count on Chickasaw Mountain
If there's a Deal meant for you
Any wild place on Earth will do.
Song #8 Cry Little Sister, by Gerard McMann (Lost Boys Soundtrack)
Last fire will rise
Behind those eyes
Black house will rock
Blind boys don't lie
Immortal fear
That voice so clear
Through broken walls
That scream I hear
Cry little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
Blue masquerade strangers look on
When will they learn
This loneliness?
Temptation heat
Beats like a drum
Deep in your veins
I will not lie to little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
My Shangrila
I can't forget
Why you were mine
I need you now
Cry little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
Cry little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
Cry, little sister
Song #8 Green Man, by Type O Negative
Spring won't come, the need of strife
To struggle to be freed from hard ground
The evenings mists thad creep and crawl
Will drench me in dew and so drown
I'm the green man
The green man
Sol in prime sweet summertime
Cast shadows of doubt on my face
A midday sun, it's causing hues
Refracting within the still lake
I'm the green man
The green man
Autumn in her flaming dress
Of orange, brown, gold fallen leaves
My mistress of the frigid night
I worship, pray to on my knees
Winter's breath of filthy snow
Befrosted paths to the unknown
Have my lips turned true purple?
Life is coming to an end
So says me, me wiccan friend
Nature coming full circle
I'm the green man
The green man
Life is coming to an end
So says me, me wiccan friend
Nature coming full circle
I'm the green man
The green man
Song #10 Of Wolf And Man, by Metallica
Off through the new day’s mist I run
Off from the new day’s mist I have come
I hunt
Therefore I am
Harvest the land
Taking of the fallen lamb
Off through the new day’s mist I run
Off from the new day’s mist I have come
We shift
Pulsing with the earth
Company we keep
Roaming the land while you sleep
Shape shift nose to the wind
Shape shift feeling I’ve been
Move swift all senses clean
Earth’s gift back to the meaning of life
Bright is the moon high in starlight
Chill is the air cold as steel tonight
We shift
Call of the wild
Fear in your eyes
It’s later than you realized
Shape shift nose to the wind
Shape shift feeling I’ve been
Move swift all senses clean
Earth’s gift back to the meaning of life
I feel I change
Back to a better day
Hair stands on the back of my neck
In wildness is the preservation of the world
So seek the wolf in thyself
Shape shift nose to the wind
Shape shift feeling I’ve been
Move swift all senses clean
Earth’s gift
Back to the meaning of wolf and man
Song #11 The Miracle, by Emmerson, Lake, and Palmer
So here we stand between the gates
Upon the dawn the eagle waits
His tallons shine like daggers
On the wings of revolution
In pain the madman staggers
But there is no solution
Another sword upon a throne
But now the jester laughs alone
Beneath this cloak of treason
Appears a thousand faces
The truth must stand to reason
For those who's heart it chases
Beyond the world of mortal man
Within this sanctuary the spectre begins to tremble
They lay his spear upon the plan
On a sea of diamonds lies a ship of glass
Through the mist the torches pass
Their banners fly in splendour
The ghosts of night decended
With grace their souls surrender
The seal must be defended
Still the dragons reign supreme
Breathing fire till we scream
They leave us nothing but our dreams
No shield can save us
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
Stand clear, there's storm above
And there is something left to fear
All speed, before the blade is drawn
And there is blood upon the seed
Let no one yield we're on the field
Where deeds eclipse the sun
Where the brave are told on a thread of gold
The tapestry is spun
As they speak of dreams their amour gleams
There's calm before the storm
But all can see their destiny
The bishop takes the pawn
In the sky the arrows fly
Each one to it's mark
Defend the true lead us through
This voyage in the dark
Make us strong you know right from wrong
Teach us what it's worth
Cos every heart that aches is what it takes
To save our mother earth
Lay your life upon the line
It's death for glory every time
You give up yours and I'll keep mine
No shield can save us
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
So here we stand between the gates
Upon the dawn the eagle waits
His tallons shine like daggers
On the wings of a revolution
In the pain the madman staggers
But there is no solution
Still the dragons reign supreme
Breathing fire till we scream
They leave us nothing but our dreams
No shield can save us
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
It's gonna take a miralce
We're searching for a miracle
Song #12 Black Powder and Alcohol, by Leslie Fish
CH: Black powder and alcohol,
When the states and the cities fall,
When your back is against the wall;
Black powder and alcohol
Gimme charcoal to the measure two:
Send the bullet where you want it to.
Gimme sulphur to the measure three:
Make the powder gonna keep you free.
Gimme saltpetre, measure fifteen:
Sweetest shooting that you've ever seen!
CH
Gimme water, yeast, and veggie-trash:
Leave it sitting in the slurry-mash.
When it's ready, put it in the still:
If you can't heat it, then the sunlight will.
Draw the alcohol away, and then
Put the slurry back, and start again!
CH
Booze'll clean your cuts, or run your car.
You can make it anywhere you are.
Black powder in your cartridge shell
Will send the robbers running clean to Hell.
You can make them if you just know how.
So kids, remember what I tell you now!
CH x2
Song #13 Dark Country, by Tom Smith
So here we are, alone at last,
And on my own home ground,
The lady and the tiger,
Or perhaps the fox and hound.
Don't look at me like this is something
You weren't leading to,
You're here because you want to be,
I'm here because of you.
How many years you've had to wait,
I bet you fantasized,
About standing here before my gate,
To look me in the eyes,
But the more that you investigate,
The less that you despise,
So aks yourself how much your hate
Was founded on the lies.
Nothing is... as simple as it seems,
What some folks call reality, others disregard as dreams,
And, in the dark, can anyone determine if the screams
Are of terror, or of love, or of pain?
You thought I killed your family,
Murdered one by one,
There's only one boy left, and he
Turns out to be my son.
I can't blame you for loathing me,
But now that passion's turned,
The raiment that you're clothing me in
Shows you haven't learned.
The bead of sweat above your lips,
The tousle of your hair,
The tremor in your fingertips,
The way that we both stare,
The way your breast is heaving,
Like you can't resist my charms,
Now what's this talk of leaving,
When you're circled in my arms?
No one... is ever really changed,
Free will is an illusion, and the willful are deranged,
And, in the dark, can anyone determine what is strange,
What is terror, what is love, what is pain?
In days gone by, the fashion
Was to speak of flames of passion,
That would live and die from spark to flare to glow,
But the spasm of desire
Is like lightning on a wire,
So forget the past, and let the current flow.
And now you wonder what you've lost,
Compared to what you've won,
And wondering if the final cost
Will matter when it's done.
The one you wanted most to die,
To pay for all his sin,
Is the only one who can satisfy
And fill your depths within.
And I can feel you watching me,
And wondering, Why this?
There's more here than an enemy
Converted with a kiss.
Well, I like having all my pawns
Convenient at my hands,
For Judgement Day is coming on,
And, darlin', I've got plans.
Know this... it's always been a game,
From order there comes chaos, but each one's just a name,
And, in the dark, I'll show to you that everything's the same,
That your terror is your love is your pain.
Song #14 Klavier, by Ramstein
Sie sagen zu mir
schließ auf diese Tür
die Neugier wird zum Schrei
was wohl dahinter sei
hinter dieser Tür
steht ein Klavier
die Tasten sind staubig
die Saiten sind verstimmt
hinter dieser Tür
sitzt sie am Klavier
doch sie spielt nicht mehr
ach das ist so lang her
Dort am Klavier
lauschte ich ihr
und wenn ihr Spiel begann
hielt ich den Atem an
Sie sagte zu mir
ich bleib immer bei dir
doch es hatte nur den Schein
sie spielte für mich allein
ich goss ihr Blut
ins Feuer meiner Wut
ich verschloss die Tür
man fragte nach ihr
Dort am Klavier
lauschte ich ihr
und wenn ihr Spiel begann
hielt ich den Atem an
Dort am Klavier
stand ich bei ihr
es hatte den Schein
sie spielte für mich allein
Geöffnet ist die Tür
ei wie sie schreien
ich höre die Mutter flehen
der Vater schlägt auf mich ein
man löst sie vom Klavier
und niemand glaubt mir hier
das ich todkrank
von Kummer und Gestank
Dort am Klavier
lauschte ich ihr
und wenn ihr Spiel begann
hielt ich den Atem an
Dort am Klavier
lauschte sie mir
und als mein Spiel begann
hielt sie den Atem an
Song #15 The Sickness, by Disturbed (spoken part of song ommited)
can you feel that
aww shit...
O-A-A-A-A
O-A-A-A-A
uh uh
uh uh
uh uh
drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken, your servant, I kneel
(will you give in to me?)
It seems what's left of my human
side is slowly changing in me
(will you give in to me?)
Looking at my own reflection,
When suddenly it changes,
Violently it changes
Oh, no. There is no turning back now,
you've woken up the demon in me.
CH: Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Open up your hate and let it flow into me.
Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
You motha get up, come on get down with the sickness!
You fucka get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Madness is the gift that has been given to me
I can see inside you, the sickness is rising,
don't try to deny what you feel.
(will you give in to me?)
It seems that all that was good has
died and is decaying in me.
(will you give in to me?)
It seems you're having some trouble,
in dealing with these changes, living with these changes.
Oh, no. The world is a scary place
now that you've woken up the demon in me.
CH
And when I dream,
And when I dream,
And when I dream,
AND WHEN I DREAM!
(spoken part)
CH
madness has now come over me!
Song #16 Bloodletting, by Concrete Blonde
There’s a crack in the mirror
And a bloodstain on the bed -
There’s a crack in the mirror
And a bloodstain on the bed -
O you were a vampire and baby
I’m walking dead
O you were a vampire and baby
I’m walking dead
CH: I got the ways and means
To New Orleans I’m going
Down by the river
Where it’s warm and green
I’m gonna have drink, and walk around
I got a lot to think about oh yeah
There’s a rocking chair by the window
Down the hall
I hear something there in the shadow
Down the hall
O you were a vampire and now I am
Nothing at all
O you were a vampire and now I am
Nothing at all
CH
They used to dance in the garden in the
Middle of the night
They used to dance in the garden in the
Middle of the night
They were naked as the day they were
Born skin all bone-china white
O you were a vampire
And I may never see the light
CH x2
Song #17 Veteran of the Psychic Wars, by Blue Oyster Cult
You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars
I’ve been living on the edge so long
Where the winds of limbo roar
And I’m young enough to look at
And far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside
I’m not sure if there’s anything left of me
Don’t let these shakes go on
It’s time we had a break from it
It’s time we had some leave
We’ve been living in the flames
We’ve been eating up our brains
Oh, please don’t let theses shakes go on
You ask me why I’m weary, why I can’t speak to you
You blame me for my silence
Say it’s time I changed and grew
But the war’s still going on dear
And there’s no end that I know
And I can’t say if we’re ever...
I can’t say if we’re ever gonna to be free
Don’t let these shakes go on
It’s time we had a break from it
It’s time we had some leave
We’ve been living in the flames
We’ve been eating out our brains
Oh, please don’t let theses shakes go on
You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars
My energy’s spent at last
And my armor is destroyed
I have used up all my weapons and I’m helpless and bereaved
Wounds are all I’m made of
Dare you say that this is victory?
Don’t let these shakes go on
It’s time we had a break from it
Send me to the rear
Where the tides of madness swell
And been sliding into hell
Oh, please don’t let shakes go on
Don’t let these shakes go on
Don’t let these shakes go on
Song #18 Dance Without Sleeping, by Melissa Etheridge
I don't want to talk about it
I've done enough I think
I don't want to spend more money
Don't want another drink
I would scratch out all the images
If I had the chance
Don't ask me what I'm thinking
Can't you see I only want to dance
Dance without sleeping
Dance without fear
Dance without senses no message I hear
Dance without sleeping
Dance till I'm numb
Dance till I think I can overcome
Walking on the edge of rage and understanding
Between the black and the white
This child is so angry
Alone here tonight
Alarming desperation
Leads me to believe
With all my shields and protection
It's only me I deceive
Dance without sleeping
Dance without fear
Dance without senses no message I hear
Dance without sleeping
Dance till I'm numb
Dance till I think I can overcome
The eyes on a magazine
The voice on the radio
The kiss on the movie screen
This is the story I know
Fathers hold on and they never go
Mothers hold on and they never go
Lovers hold on and they never go
Lovers they come and they never go
Dance without sleeping
Dance without fear
Dance without senses no message I hear
Dance without sleeping
Dance till I'm numb
Dance till I think I can overcome
Song #19 One, by Metallica
I can’t remember anything
Can’t tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside I feel to scream
This terrible silence stops me
Now that the war is through with me
I’m waking up I can not see
That there is not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please god,wake me
Back in the womb it’s much too real
In pumps life that I must feel
But can’t look forward to reveal
Look to the time when I’ll live
Fed through the tube that sticks in me
Just like a wartime novelty
Tied to machines that make me be
Cut this life off from me
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please god,wake me
Now the world is gone I’m just one
Oh god, help me hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God help me
Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell
Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken my legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell
Song #20 Teacher, Teacher, by Leslie Fish
Teacher, teacher, do what you can
To teach your children all the knowledge of Man;
Teach them how to think and how to survive
A world that eats the soul and body alive.
Teacher, teacher, you know what they face--
A sea of bigotry for age, sex or race;
Or any other cause that's useful this year;
Try to warn the children while they're still safe in here.
Teacher, teacher, the foe waits outside
To make your children more tools for his pride;
He's always scratchin' for a way to get in--
Here come the pressure groups--he's tryin' again.
Teacher, teacher, you know you're alone;
Your boss won't save your skin, he's saving his own;
Nor will the parents help, but only condemn--
They want their children taught to be just like them!
Here come the bureaucrat with fifty more rules
To tie your hands and take more bread from the schools,
Here comes the preacher trying hard to get in,
He wants all children taught his pet brand of sin.
Here comes the government with plenty to say;
It wants your children taught to serve and obey;
Here comes the school board, and that's worst of all
They want the teachers taught to cave in and fall!
Teacher, teacher, you know what you'll find,
They want their thumbprints stamped on everyone's mind;
The kids suspect it and resent it like hell,
And all too often they suspect you as well.
Teacher, teacher, tell me how can you teach
When all the grownups only want you to preach?
How can you teach the kids to think for themselves
With all the censors stealing books off the shelves?
Teacher guarding the dwindling flame,
How many of your kids have beaten the game?
The wind is rising and the night's falling fast--
Will you run, save yourself, or fight to the last?
This is how I typically respond to a power rush, and every song on this list is a strong power song for me.
Song #3 Bedlam Boys, Traditional
For to see mad Tom of Bedlam,
Ten thousand miles I'll travel.
Mad Maudlin goes on dirty toes
For to save her shoes from gravel.
CH: Still I sing bonny boys, bonny mad boys:
Bedlam boys are bonny,
For they all go bare and they live by the air
And they want no drink nor money.
CH
I went down to Pluto's Kitchen
For to get me food one morning,
And there I got souls piping hot,
All on the spit a-turning.
CH
My staff has murdered giants;
My bag a long knife carries
For to cut mince-pies from children's thighs
With which to feed the fairies.
CH
The spirits white as lightning
Would on my travels guide me;
The moon would shake and the stars would quake
Whenever they espied me.
CH
And when that I'll be murdering
The man in the moon to a powder,
His staff I'll break and his dog I'll shake,
And there'll howl no demon louder.
CH
By a knight of ghosts and shadows
I summoned am to tourney
Ten leagues beyond the wild world's end;
Methinks it is no journey.
CH
Of forty bare years have I
Twice twenty been enraged,
And of thirty been three times fifteen
In durance soundly caged;
CH
Still I do sing any food, any feeding,
Feeding, drink or clothing?
Come dame, come maid, be not afraid:
Poor Tom will injure nothing.
CH
With a host of furious fancies
Of which I am commander,
With a flaming spear and a horse of air
Through the wilderness I'll wander.
CH
I know more than Apollo,
For oft when he lies sleeping
I see the stars at bloody wars
In the wounded welkin weeping.
CH
From the hag and the hungry goblin
That into rags would rend ye,
May the spirit that stands by the naked man
In the Book of Moons defend ye.
CH
That of your five sound senses
May you never be forsaken,
Nor wander from yourselves with Tom
Abroad to beg your bacon.
CH
Song #4 Dragon, by John Flynn
It lives beneath the mountain where the hallowed one still lies
Coiled in the darkness it unfolds its wings to fly
Bloated carcass rising as it belches stench and flame
Though you may hear differently, it never has been slain
CH: Oh, can you hear the night wind sing?
Over the hall of fallen kings?
Oh, it's the beating leather wings of a dragon
It walked with priceless treasure out democracy's front door.
It buys and sells the very ones that you and I vote for
Driven by a hunger and an endless lust for gold
Preys on the defenseless ones, the poor, sick, and the old.
CH
Someone is dividing us by colour and by creed
Making it that much easier a task to cull and feed
Someone spins the lies that force the weary ones to choose
Between the wounded planet and the jobs they fear to lose
CH
Heroes fell in battle with the swollen ancient wyrm
Ghandi, Martin Luther, even Jesus took a turn
When a thousand martyrs got in line to take their place,
The dragon knew it could no longer scare the human race.
CH
So it learned to smile, and it learned the art of stealth
Corporate accquistion and deception plunder wealth
Much more cost effective than even fire, tooth and claw
When it becomes tedious, you simply change the law.
CH
Now the fallen towers have been painted on our shields
Fear is on the land as armies gather in the fields
Something smiles as shrill voices bend the archers' aim,
We must see through its disguise, and call it by its name.
CH
It's a dragon
It's a dragon
Song #5 Battle of Evermore, by Led Zepplin
Queen of Light took her bow,
And then she turned to go,
The Prince of Peace embraced the gloom,
And walked the night alone.
Oh, dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morning light.
The dark Lord rides in force tonight,
And time will tell us all.
Oh, throw down your plow and hoe,
Rest not to lock your homes.
Side by side we wait the might of the darkest of them all.
I hear the horses' thunder down in the valley blow,
I'm waiting for the angels of Avalon,
Waiting for the eastern glow.
The apples of the valley hold,
The seeds of happiness,
The ground is rich from tender care,
Repay, do not forget, no, no.
Dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morning light.
The apples turn to brown and black,
The tyrant's face is red.
Oh war is the common cry,
Pick up your swords and fly.
The sky is filled with good and bad that mortals never know.
Oh, well, the night is long the beads of time pass slow,
Tired eyes on the sunrise,
Waiting for the eastern glow.
The pain of war cannot exceed the woe of aftermath,
The drums will shake the castle wall,
The ring wraiths ride in black,
Ride on.
Sing as you raise your bow,
Shoot straighter than before.
No comfort has the fire at night that lights the face so cold.
Oh dance in the dark of night,
Sing to the morning light.
The magic runes are writ in gold to bring the balance back.
Bring it back.
At last the sun is shining,
The clouds of blue roll by,
With flames from the dragon of darkness,
The sunlight blinds his eyes.
Song #6 Don't Call My Name In Battle, by Heather Alexander
Don't call my name in battle,
It's not wise
Do not distract me when you see a new soul in these eyes
For when the war god fills this flesh I wear,
I am no more your friend; I am the spirit of the bear
Don't call my name in battle,
Stand away
For I will never hear you but another creature may
It never sees a friend but only foes,
Just count the bodies lying where this taken body goes
Don't call my name in battle,
Wait the time
Until I fall and rise again with eyes you know are mine
And then perhaps we'll rest and talk of home,
But do not be surprised to see how much I walk alone
Song #7 Chickasaw Mountain, by Leslie Fish
High up on the mountain of Chickasaw, they say,
There's one patch of darkness that never yields to day;
Deep are those shadows, old as the mountain,
Something is waiting in there; call on her if you dare!
Seek no level of God or devil; she's something older by far,
Call her "Lady Of the Morning Star".
She offers two bargains; the price is steep and dark;
The one takes your life, and the other leaves a mark.
If there's a third one, I've never heard one,
Choose for yourself, what's the fee?
Nothing she gives is free!
Name your goal--she won't ask your soul--
She might even give you her own--
And maybe you'd be better off alone!
My old fellow rebel: I know what deal he made;
The Power rang through every song he wrote and played;
Made him the best of his generation,
Sang to the end of the War--and not a moment more.
Then it left him; the Power bereft him,
Left him but one fate to see--
Hanging on his sister's apple tree.
Forgive my old buddy, who soon forgot my name;
The cost of the Gift to the living and the dead;
Still, if you feel you'll gain by the deal,
You'll play with the old Morning Star--no need to travel far.
Don't just count on Chickasaw Mountain
If there's a Deal meant for you
Any wild place on Earth will do.
Song #8 Cry Little Sister, by Gerard McMann (Lost Boys Soundtrack)
Last fire will rise
Behind those eyes
Black house will rock
Blind boys don't lie
Immortal fear
That voice so clear
Through broken walls
That scream I hear
Cry little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
Blue masquerade strangers look on
When will they learn
This loneliness?
Temptation heat
Beats like a drum
Deep in your veins
I will not lie to little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
My Shangrila
I can't forget
Why you were mine
I need you now
Cry little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
Cry little sister (Thou shalt not fall)
Come, come to your brother (Thou shalt not die)
Unchain me sister (Thou shalt not fear)
Love is with your brother (Thou shalt not feel)
Cry, little sister
Song #8 Green Man, by Type O Negative
Spring won't come, the need of strife
To struggle to be freed from hard ground
The evenings mists thad creep and crawl
Will drench me in dew and so drown
I'm the green man
The green man
Sol in prime sweet summertime
Cast shadows of doubt on my face
A midday sun, it's causing hues
Refracting within the still lake
I'm the green man
The green man
Autumn in her flaming dress
Of orange, brown, gold fallen leaves
My mistress of the frigid night
I worship, pray to on my knees
Winter's breath of filthy snow
Befrosted paths to the unknown
Have my lips turned true purple?
Life is coming to an end
So says me, me wiccan friend
Nature coming full circle
I'm the green man
The green man
Life is coming to an end
So says me, me wiccan friend
Nature coming full circle
I'm the green man
The green man
Song #10 Of Wolf And Man, by Metallica
Off through the new day’s mist I run
Off from the new day’s mist I have come
I hunt
Therefore I am
Harvest the land
Taking of the fallen lamb
Off through the new day’s mist I run
Off from the new day’s mist I have come
We shift
Pulsing with the earth
Company we keep
Roaming the land while you sleep
Shape shift nose to the wind
Shape shift feeling I’ve been
Move swift all senses clean
Earth’s gift back to the meaning of life
Bright is the moon high in starlight
Chill is the air cold as steel tonight
We shift
Call of the wild
Fear in your eyes
It’s later than you realized
Shape shift nose to the wind
Shape shift feeling I’ve been
Move swift all senses clean
Earth’s gift back to the meaning of life
I feel I change
Back to a better day
Hair stands on the back of my neck
In wildness is the preservation of the world
So seek the wolf in thyself
Shape shift nose to the wind
Shape shift feeling I’ve been
Move swift all senses clean
Earth’s gift
Back to the meaning of wolf and man
Song #11 The Miracle, by Emmerson, Lake, and Palmer
So here we stand between the gates
Upon the dawn the eagle waits
His tallons shine like daggers
On the wings of revolution
In pain the madman staggers
But there is no solution
Another sword upon a throne
But now the jester laughs alone
Beneath this cloak of treason
Appears a thousand faces
The truth must stand to reason
For those who's heart it chases
Beyond the world of mortal man
Within this sanctuary the spectre begins to tremble
They lay his spear upon the plan
On a sea of diamonds lies a ship of glass
Through the mist the torches pass
Their banners fly in splendour
The ghosts of night decended
With grace their souls surrender
The seal must be defended
Still the dragons reign supreme
Breathing fire till we scream
They leave us nothing but our dreams
No shield can save us
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
Stand clear, there's storm above
And there is something left to fear
All speed, before the blade is drawn
And there is blood upon the seed
Let no one yield we're on the field
Where deeds eclipse the sun
Where the brave are told on a thread of gold
The tapestry is spun
As they speak of dreams their amour gleams
There's calm before the storm
But all can see their destiny
The bishop takes the pawn
In the sky the arrows fly
Each one to it's mark
Defend the true lead us through
This voyage in the dark
Make us strong you know right from wrong
Teach us what it's worth
Cos every heart that aches is what it takes
To save our mother earth
Lay your life upon the line
It's death for glory every time
You give up yours and I'll keep mine
No shield can save us
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
So here we stand between the gates
Upon the dawn the eagle waits
His tallons shine like daggers
On the wings of a revolution
In the pain the madman staggers
But there is no solution
Still the dragons reign supreme
Breathing fire till we scream
They leave us nothing but our dreams
No shield can save us
It's gonna take a miracle
We're searching for a miracle
It's gonna take a miralce
We're searching for a miracle
Song #12 Black Powder and Alcohol, by Leslie Fish
CH: Black powder and alcohol,
When the states and the cities fall,
When your back is against the wall;
Black powder and alcohol
Gimme charcoal to the measure two:
Send the bullet where you want it to.
Gimme sulphur to the measure three:
Make the powder gonna keep you free.
Gimme saltpetre, measure fifteen:
Sweetest shooting that you've ever seen!
CH
Gimme water, yeast, and veggie-trash:
Leave it sitting in the slurry-mash.
When it's ready, put it in the still:
If you can't heat it, then the sunlight will.
Draw the alcohol away, and then
Put the slurry back, and start again!
CH
Booze'll clean your cuts, or run your car.
You can make it anywhere you are.
Black powder in your cartridge shell
Will send the robbers running clean to Hell.
You can make them if you just know how.
So kids, remember what I tell you now!
CH x2
Song #13 Dark Country, by Tom Smith
So here we are, alone at last,
And on my own home ground,
The lady and the tiger,
Or perhaps the fox and hound.
Don't look at me like this is something
You weren't leading to,
You're here because you want to be,
I'm here because of you.
How many years you've had to wait,
I bet you fantasized,
About standing here before my gate,
To look me in the eyes,
But the more that you investigate,
The less that you despise,
So aks yourself how much your hate
Was founded on the lies.
Nothing is... as simple as it seems,
What some folks call reality, others disregard as dreams,
And, in the dark, can anyone determine if the screams
Are of terror, or of love, or of pain?
You thought I killed your family,
Murdered one by one,
There's only one boy left, and he
Turns out to be my son.
I can't blame you for loathing me,
But now that passion's turned,
The raiment that you're clothing me in
Shows you haven't learned.
The bead of sweat above your lips,
The tousle of your hair,
The tremor in your fingertips,
The way that we both stare,
The way your breast is heaving,
Like you can't resist my charms,
Now what's this talk of leaving,
When you're circled in my arms?
No one... is ever really changed,
Free will is an illusion, and the willful are deranged,
And, in the dark, can anyone determine what is strange,
What is terror, what is love, what is pain?
In days gone by, the fashion
Was to speak of flames of passion,
That would live and die from spark to flare to glow,
But the spasm of desire
Is like lightning on a wire,
So forget the past, and let the current flow.
And now you wonder what you've lost,
Compared to what you've won,
And wondering if the final cost
Will matter when it's done.
The one you wanted most to die,
To pay for all his sin,
Is the only one who can satisfy
And fill your depths within.
And I can feel you watching me,
And wondering, Why this?
There's more here than an enemy
Converted with a kiss.
Well, I like having all my pawns
Convenient at my hands,
For Judgement Day is coming on,
And, darlin', I've got plans.
Know this... it's always been a game,
From order there comes chaos, but each one's just a name,
And, in the dark, I'll show to you that everything's the same,
That your terror is your love is your pain.
Song #14 Klavier, by Ramstein
Sie sagen zu mir
schließ auf diese Tür
die Neugier wird zum Schrei
was wohl dahinter sei
hinter dieser Tür
steht ein Klavier
die Tasten sind staubig
die Saiten sind verstimmt
hinter dieser Tür
sitzt sie am Klavier
doch sie spielt nicht mehr
ach das ist so lang her
Dort am Klavier
lauschte ich ihr
und wenn ihr Spiel begann
hielt ich den Atem an
Sie sagte zu mir
ich bleib immer bei dir
doch es hatte nur den Schein
sie spielte für mich allein
ich goss ihr Blut
ins Feuer meiner Wut
ich verschloss die Tür
man fragte nach ihr
Dort am Klavier
lauschte ich ihr
und wenn ihr Spiel begann
hielt ich den Atem an
Dort am Klavier
stand ich bei ihr
es hatte den Schein
sie spielte für mich allein
Geöffnet ist die Tür
ei wie sie schreien
ich höre die Mutter flehen
der Vater schlägt auf mich ein
man löst sie vom Klavier
und niemand glaubt mir hier
das ich todkrank
von Kummer und Gestank
Dort am Klavier
lauschte ich ihr
und wenn ihr Spiel begann
hielt ich den Atem an
Dort am Klavier
lauschte sie mir
und als mein Spiel begann
hielt sie den Atem an
Song #15 The Sickness, by Disturbed (spoken part of song ommited)
can you feel that
aww shit...
O-A-A-A-A
O-A-A-A-A
uh uh
uh uh
uh uh
drowning deep in my sea of loathing
Broken, your servant, I kneel
(will you give in to me?)
It seems what's left of my human
side is slowly changing in me
(will you give in to me?)
Looking at my own reflection,
When suddenly it changes,
Violently it changes
Oh, no. There is no turning back now,
you've woken up the demon in me.
CH: Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Open up your hate and let it flow into me.
Get up, come on get down with the sickness!
You motha get up, come on get down with the sickness!
You fucka get up, come on get down with the sickness!
Madness is the gift that has been given to me
I can see inside you, the sickness is rising,
don't try to deny what you feel.
(will you give in to me?)
It seems that all that was good has
died and is decaying in me.
(will you give in to me?)
It seems you're having some trouble,
in dealing with these changes, living with these changes.
Oh, no. The world is a scary place
now that you've woken up the demon in me.
CH
And when I dream,
And when I dream,
And when I dream,
AND WHEN I DREAM!
(spoken part)
CH
madness has now come over me!
Song #16 Bloodletting, by Concrete Blonde
There’s a crack in the mirror
And a bloodstain on the bed -
There’s a crack in the mirror
And a bloodstain on the bed -
O you were a vampire and baby
I’m walking dead
O you were a vampire and baby
I’m walking dead
CH: I got the ways and means
To New Orleans I’m going
Down by the river
Where it’s warm and green
I’m gonna have drink, and walk around
I got a lot to think about oh yeah
There’s a rocking chair by the window
Down the hall
I hear something there in the shadow
Down the hall
O you were a vampire and now I am
Nothing at all
O you were a vampire and now I am
Nothing at all
CH
They used to dance in the garden in the
Middle of the night
They used to dance in the garden in the
Middle of the night
They were naked as the day they were
Born skin all bone-china white
O you were a vampire
And I may never see the light

Song #17 Veteran of the Psychic Wars, by Blue Oyster Cult
You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars
I’ve been living on the edge so long
Where the winds of limbo roar
And I’m young enough to look at
And far too old to see
All the scars are on the inside
I’m not sure if there’s anything left of me
Don’t let these shakes go on
It’s time we had a break from it
It’s time we had some leave
We’ve been living in the flames
We’ve been eating up our brains
Oh, please don’t let theses shakes go on
You ask me why I’m weary, why I can’t speak to you
You blame me for my silence
Say it’s time I changed and grew
But the war’s still going on dear
And there’s no end that I know
And I can’t say if we’re ever...
I can’t say if we’re ever gonna to be free
Don’t let these shakes go on
It’s time we had a break from it
It’s time we had some leave
We’ve been living in the flames
We’ve been eating out our brains
Oh, please don’t let theses shakes go on
You see me now a veteran of a thousand psychic wars
My energy’s spent at last
And my armor is destroyed
I have used up all my weapons and I’m helpless and bereaved
Wounds are all I’m made of
Dare you say that this is victory?
Don’t let these shakes go on
It’s time we had a break from it
Send me to the rear
Where the tides of madness swell
And been sliding into hell
Oh, please don’t let shakes go on
Don’t let these shakes go on
Don’t let these shakes go on
Song #18 Dance Without Sleeping, by Melissa Etheridge
I don't want to talk about it
I've done enough I think
I don't want to spend more money
Don't want another drink
I would scratch out all the images
If I had the chance
Don't ask me what I'm thinking
Can't you see I only want to dance
Dance without sleeping
Dance without fear
Dance without senses no message I hear
Dance without sleeping
Dance till I'm numb
Dance till I think I can overcome
Walking on the edge of rage and understanding
Between the black and the white
This child is so angry
Alone here tonight
Alarming desperation
Leads me to believe
With all my shields and protection
It's only me I deceive
Dance without sleeping
Dance without fear
Dance without senses no message I hear
Dance without sleeping
Dance till I'm numb
Dance till I think I can overcome
The eyes on a magazine
The voice on the radio
The kiss on the movie screen
This is the story I know
Fathers hold on and they never go
Mothers hold on and they never go
Lovers hold on and they never go
Lovers they come and they never go
Dance without sleeping
Dance without fear
Dance without senses no message I hear
Dance without sleeping
Dance till I'm numb
Dance till I think I can overcome
Song #19 One, by Metallica
I can’t remember anything
Can’t tell if this is true or dream
Deep down inside I feel to scream
This terrible silence stops me
Now that the war is through with me
I’m waking up I can not see
That there is not much left of me
Nothing is real but pain now
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please god,wake me
Back in the womb it’s much too real
In pumps life that I must feel
But can’t look forward to reveal
Look to the time when I’ll live
Fed through the tube that sticks in me
Just like a wartime novelty
Tied to machines that make me be
Cut this life off from me
Hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please god,wake me
Now the world is gone I’m just one
Oh god, help me hold my breath as I wish for death
Oh please God help me
Darkness imprisoning me
All that I see
Absolute horror
I cannot live
I cannot die
Trapped in myself
Body my holding cell
Landmine has taken my sight
Taken my speech
Taken my hearing
Taken my arms
Taken my legs
Taken my soul
Left me with life in hell
Song #20 Teacher, Teacher, by Leslie Fish
Teacher, teacher, do what you can
To teach your children all the knowledge of Man;
Teach them how to think and how to survive
A world that eats the soul and body alive.
Teacher, teacher, you know what they face--
A sea of bigotry for age, sex or race;
Or any other cause that's useful this year;
Try to warn the children while they're still safe in here.
Teacher, teacher, the foe waits outside
To make your children more tools for his pride;
He's always scratchin' for a way to get in--
Here come the pressure groups--he's tryin' again.
Teacher, teacher, you know you're alone;
Your boss won't save your skin, he's saving his own;
Nor will the parents help, but only condemn--
They want their children taught to be just like them!
Here come the bureaucrat with fifty more rules
To tie your hands and take more bread from the schools,
Here comes the preacher trying hard to get in,
He wants all children taught his pet brand of sin.
Here comes the government with plenty to say;
It wants your children taught to serve and obey;
Here comes the school board, and that's worst of all
They want the teachers taught to cave in and fall!
Teacher, teacher, you know what you'll find,
They want their thumbprints stamped on everyone's mind;
