Now I want to talk about the subject, poke around at it and explore it some.

So. There are two of us in here. We've already posted how we came to be multiple. That doesn't really cover living multiple, though. In some ways, we have it easier than most other multiples that we know. There are only two of us, and we share the front seat very well. We don't suffer from memory lapses, we can communicate with each other, and we even get along with each other. While Naomi is the one who does virtually all the interacting with the outside world, Astrid is almost always sharing the front, or very close to it. Because of this, most people are not, and have never been, aware that we are multiple.

While Naomi is the one interacting for us, our voice, body language, and habits are Naomi's. We may be sharing the front, but she is the one that determines most of our behaviour when she is the one interacting with people. When Astrid is the one interacting with the external world, our voice, body language, and habits are hers. This is, we have been told, a very noticable change. [livejournal.com profile] warinbear has described it as the differencec between the way a mouse moves, and the way a cat moves. Naomi's typing speed is better, and Astrid is more sure of exactly where the body is in relation to everything around it.

So. The next question would be, how many of you out there are intrested in hearing (or reading) more on this subject? While this is our journal, if we're the only ones intrested in the subject, we can place these entries as 'Private.'

I would be interested in hearing more. If you can deal with my occasional, ha 2, try 13, but you know that's only becasue I love you. Also, do you just want us to read and understand you're experiences with the situation or add our own comments about how being multiple affects us as well and make it a kind of discussion.

Just reply however you want. You're much more likely to get a response over the next few days than usual, though. Throat is sore to the point that whispering feels like rubbing sandpaper over it, so we're much more likely to be online and trying to not notice that the body hurts.
