Neccesary Nasty Stuff

You don't need to read this. I'm posting this only because this part of the ritual that Astrid's been going through needs to be at least semi-public. As in, needs non-family witnesses.



I sever and renounce all ties, saving those of family and friendship, with the Maiden of Stone, Lady of the Morning Light, Sister of the Dawn Star.

I remove myself from her protection. I return to her all wards, shields, and protections that she has given to me.

I declare null and void all vows and oaths between us.

I stand before the Courts of Heaven and Hell, Order and Chaos, Life and Death, Seelie and Unseelie, Earth and Air, Fire and Water, Light and Dark, and declare myself to be no more beholden to her. My heart, my soul, my life, my body, and my mind are no longer hers to command.

I remain a Servant of Justice, but my service is no longer and will never again be hers.

I call on Michael, Tyr, and Ma'at to hear and witness my words.

Astrid, Protector of the Young, Lady of Sanctuaries, Priestess of Justice.
