And it only now occurred to me that Louis' grandfather was laid to rest on the Solstice. It feels fitting.

In related news, when it comes time for *me*, there will be a wake. Pipe organ music will be strictly verboten. Also, I will record myself saying such things as, "I see you back there in the corner, crying. Knock it off and join the party" for random playing at the wake, so as to make sure that people get the message that they are supposed to be celebrating life, not mourning my death.

(Seriously, the pipe organ was bad enough, but having the same piece of generic funeral music on repeat over speakers was just too much. Also, Louis has about a zillion cousins.)

My plan is to donate my body to science, but I want a party with the most glorious food and booze imaginable. No dieting allowed...everyone who can must indulge. Makes up for too much 'portion control' in my life. They should also feel free to tell rude stories about me. (There are a few!)

Oh yeah. A BIG bucket of KFC Extra Crispy. I'm not supposed to eat it at all and I miss it.

Its just a doorway, after all. Another roadtrip.

Be grateful that valves and dampers (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organ_(music)) were invented or the organ music might have been played from a couple of valleys away.

Since we probably won't be able to afford any sort of cremation or burial for me, sordak will probably have to set me out at the curb with the rest of the trash.
