Coming home from friend's house after gaming tonight, and the car started making Not Happy noises. Not really lout ones, just persistent. And then the battery light started coming on and off.

We got home, though both our heart rates were really up. Gonna ask Louis' dad to look at it tomorrow. Likely culprits, considering noises, are the alternator or the charging belt. Thankfully, not the most expensive parts on a car to fix, but of course, that assumes that one of those two is the problem. Gah.

I have found my calm centered place about going back to TN for a week, since it's for something Important. However, TN seems to radiate this general field of pain, misery, and general suffering when it comes to us at this point.

I'll be hiding under my blankets.
