I think that Bear Cub is old enough to decide where and with whom she wants to live now, isn't she? In Florida I'm pretty sure that the age is 12.

TN child custody law is a bloody pain in the rear to go through, but from what we've been able to find, then yeah, it's pretty much up to her at this age. The only way it isn't (as far as I can tell) is if there's a problem that would make it a bad idea. Which is where the current disagreement lies.

I really am sorry you see it this way, Naomi. And I'm sad that you've decided to include me in your us-versus-them mentality, which makes me Evil and Wrong, instead of trying to hear what I have to say. That is your right, of course. I still wish you all well, although I think much less of you since you and Louis started heaping all this public and private abuse upon me. You can be really quite venomous.

I am certainly fallible. However, I honestly have no idea why you'd have a grudge against me, and you'd think I would remember if I've done something to deserve physical violence ... Perhaps you're confusing me with someone else?

As for the current storm with Naomi et al, I have tried to communicate further with the parties concerned, the people who actually matter in this discussion. I doubt I'll ever be able to discuss it with any of her friends, who now think that I have posted her words to the web, or some similar transgression (which is, I repeat, not what I did). And it's sad that a number of you have attacked me for this apparent transgression, while barking at me about stepping in where I'm not welcome or don't fully understand the situation.

Ultimately, hopefully everyone will calm down and realize that I am not the enemy, that I am not evil or whatnot. If the general masses never get that far, I will care less, but I hope Scott, Naomi, and Louis do get there. And if they don't, well, that's sad, but I can't change that.
