On Crud and Cleaning

omimouseOof. Any of you that've caught this year's version of the Crud, you have my heartfelt sympathies. I've been wrestling it for the past week, and finally woke up this morning feeling much, much better.

catchild and warinbear, however, are now busily trying not to come down with the Crud. Warin coming down with it is a biggie. He very rarely (if ever) gets sick.
Since I woke up feeling so much better, I proceded to do my best to catch up on the housework that I'd been letting lapse. The counter in my bathroom has been straightened up, I went through one of the boxes in my closet and sorted the stuff in it out to where it needed to live, I found the kitchen table and wiped it down, cleared, rearranged, and wiped down the kitchen counters, spent about an hour cleaning various pieces of silver, loaded the dishwasher, and did a decent amount of kid-herding.
The adults of Sanctuary have been bitten by the 'get this house fucking clean and organized' bug. There's stuff that's been in boxes for literally years that is finally getting unpacked. I think the family is finally starting to believe that we're going to stay here.
