Snowflake is at the vet's office. He will be there for the next five days. he has the feline version of Lyme's Disease.

He has a 50/50 chance of survival. The vet will be calling us with daily updates. He'll either come home, or he won't, from what the vet said.

Snowflake is the Puppy's cat. She's six years old, and while we've told her that he might not be coming back, she doesn't really believe that he won't come home. After all, fifty plus fifty equals one hundred, so he's got a 100% chance of survival.

catchild and I sort of choked a bit, and didn't try to disaude her from that form of math. Belief is a powerful thing.

Please, let him come home to us. Alive and healthy.
