Update: Catchild's Mom

catchild's mom got out of surgery about thirty minutes ago. Her dad called her to let her know how it had gone.
They wound up removing all of her reproductive organs, as well as part of the vaginal tract. It was all cancer-ridden. She's been to two other doctors in the last three years, and they kept telling her that it was just cysts, that the cancer tests were expensive, they didn't need to run the tests for cancer, even when she specifically asked that they run those tests. They told her not to worry about, that it wasn't cancer.
catchild's mom has had cancer for the past three years, according to the doctor who performed the hystorectemy. On the good front, he is very optimistic that he got all of it. We won't know for certain for at least ten days.
Please, Mother, please Father, please let him have gotten all of it.
Prayers and Good Thoughts continue to be appreciated. Feel free to put her on any and all lists that you know of; she believes in prayer of all types and dnominations, or lack thereof.
