Just to let folks know, my online time for the next two weeks is going to be sporadic as all get out. Much painting and looking at appliances and putting up of things to block out the sun, yah.

Oh, and the actual moving-things-with-a-really-big-truck bit that we'll be doing next weekend.

Uff da. But, we have measurements galore! Tomorrow, we (hopefully) buy applinaces and set up delivery dates, and get the kids in the afternoon (at the apartment) and then scrub the walls and then it's painting time!

I'm already betting that at least one of the girls will join me in geeking over my new electric mop thingie.

SQUEEEEE!!!! I am SO happy for you! Getting into a place of your own is just SOOO cool! Lots of hard work, yes- but you knew THAT already- still... to have four walls to call your OWN that you can paint whatever shade and hang whatever off of, THAT is a cool feeling.

An old military wife's trick, sheets either pleated or gathered, make great curtains, and then cam be used as sheets later. They can be really pretty too.
