Not in the Armend Forces myself, but . . .

. . .I know Pagans that are.

The Pagan Headstone Campaign

Learn something new every day. Until today, I didn't realize that the military had to have a religious symbol listed as 'authorized' before they'd put it on a tombstone in a military cemetary.

When Kent was in boot he had to have the Chaplain explain to his CO that yes he could wear his arrowhead on his dogtags... but that was after he explained to the Chaplain that the arrowhead symbolized his personal diety, Ullr, who happens to be a pretty obscure Norse god (snow & archery, he preceeded Odin & his symbol is the arrowhead)... but the CO never quite got over it... even though when Kent was RE4'd he was about to put him in a position of authority (or as much as you can get in boot).
