This is not good.
Warin went into surgery for an infected lymph node last month.
The temp job he was at was filled while he was recovering from surgery. He still can't find a job, and we need that income something fierce. It's beginning to look like he's going to have to take an OTR trucking job, a prospect that does not make me a happy mouse. Louis and Dragon are still unemployed, and they're not exactly thrilled about that, either. If anyone can spare them, Good Job Vibes thisaway would be really good.
On top of this, this region appears to be auditioning for the role of rainforest. It has not been dry for longer than a few days, and we need it to be dry for about a week to get all the work done on the house site and get the house in. The house is finished and waiting at the lot; it has been for the past two weeks now. They just need it to be dry for long enough to get the damned thing *in*.
This is frustrating for all of us. Killing things on Diablo II has become a very popular method of stress relief.
Not the most promising of atmospheres to get handfasted in, but Warin and I have been planning this for a while, and Feb. 28 it is, no matter what the weather patterns in the area are.
Dry and sunny for a week would still be a very good thing, though, seeing as how it's *still* snowing outside.

You have my good thoughts, and I'll especially be thinking of you this weekend. :) Wish I could be there.
