(no subject)

A day late on the uptake here, but we finally have internet at the house.

That only took about 2 months and 6 cable companies all passing the 'who has service out here' buck. Comcast took about 6 weeks to finally decide that they didn't service the area, and assured us that the first cable company we'd called was in fact who ran service in our area. First cable company (Armstrong) assured us that their tech said they did not. (Translation: "I don't want to run line up that driveway, so it's outside of our service area.")

Phone company got us set up with DSL inside of two weeks. Hallelujah.

-falls over- So, what's been going' on?

3.5 weeks until we close on a house and 10 weeks until we get to meet Peanut face-to-face. Time's flyin'!

Cool. I never considered doubting their word when they said their company didn't go out to an area. I should investigate that further in the future.

I think my life is in the exact same quandary it always is. ;)
